Funeral services honoring the life of Charles Worthington were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday,May 6, 2015 at Grand Cane Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA. Visitation was Tuesday from 2:00 to5:00 PM. Charles was born on November 14, 1956 to his parents Eugene and Ramona Worthington. Charles is survived by hisparents, Eugene and Ramona Worthington; sons, Scott Worthington and wife Magen,Joseph Worthington and wifeFreedom, Tim Worthington, BillyWorthington; daughter, KaciiWorthington; sisters, BonnieMcEntyre, Heidi Miller, KelliWard; brother, Ramon Worthington;grandchildren, Charles, William,Destiny, Gage, and Joseph.

Funeral services for Mary F.Blanchard, 88, will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 o’clock in theFirst Baptist Church in Mansfield with the Rev. Thumper Miller, pastor,officiating. Interment will follow inthe old Mansfield cemetery under thedirection of Rose-Neath. Visitationwill be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. inthe Rose-Neath Chapel.A native of Clarks in CaldwellParish, she was graduated from Clarks High School and served the schoolband as drum majorette andcheerleader. She entered nursingschool at the once North LouisianaSanitarium in Shreveport as a cadet nurse and was educated in OB-GYNat “Big” Charity in New Orleans. She attended Vanderbilt University formedical study. Mrs. Blanchard has served as a registered nurse in many capacities in Winnsboro, Oak Grove (West Carroll Parish), Bastrop whereshe was operating supervisor at Morehouse General and Mansfield as asurgery nurse, office nurse and school nurse.

Leslie Badiali, 78, of Mansfield,LA, passed away on May 4, 2015 inShreveport, LA.Funeral services were held atKilpatrick’s Rose-Neath FuneralHome on May 8, 2015 at 10:00 amwhere Bro. Bob Latham of AntiochBaptist Church officiated. Burialfollowed at Antioch Baptist Church,Mansfield, LA. Visitation was held atKilpatrick’s Rose-Neath FuneralHome on May 7, 2015 from 5-9 pm. Leslie was born in Fresno,California to Marion and FlorenceBadiali on November 14, 1936. Hegraduated from Fresno High Schoolin 1954. He joined the United StatesAir Force where he proudly served until 1963. After moving to Louisianahe began working at Valley Electric where he advanced from Lineman toDistrict Manager over his 37 ½ years. He was a friend and mentor to scoresof co-workers. Leslie served his Lord as a deacon at Antioch BaptistChurch. He enjoyed horse riding, car racing, boating, camping, squaredancing, hunting and woodworking.
