John D. Ingram, Jr. passed away on April 2, 2014. He was born on May 10, 1927 in Marthaville, Louisiana to his parents John D. Ingram, Sr. and Ollie Weeks Ingram whom have preceded him in death. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Hazel Ingram. Two sons, Danny Ray Ingram and Terry L. Ingram. Three sisters, Johnnie Barlow, Jackie Sue Lee and Helen Speights. Six grandchildren Ruth, Ryan, Zachary, Brandy, Brad and David. Great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Morgan, Zachary, Coleman, Madelyn, Ashland, Whitney and Madeline Ingram. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Lappin, Fran (69) departed this life peacefully on March 21, 2014 at home in Charles City,  VA, after a three-year battle with cancer. She was born August 8, 1944 in Henderson, TX, and was the oldest of four children. She
is survived by her husband Dr. Craig Lappin; her surviving siblings and their spouses, Dr. Sue and Burton Weaver of Louisiana and Mr. Scott and Rhonda Wells of Texas; seven nieces and nephews in Louisiana
and Texas, and other extended family. Mrs. Lappin was preceded in death by her parents, M.P. and Bobbie Fountain Wells, and her brother, M.P. “Buddy” Wells, Jr. Fran lived a full life, leaving a legacy of kindness, love, and strength, a beautiful home and garden, and her beloved beagles. Memorial service honoring the life of Freddie Stutts, 69, will be held, 2:00 PM Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Johnathan McMannis officiating. Freddie was born November 9, 1944 in Booneville, MS to Freeman Stutts and Maggie Davis Stutts and passed away April 17, 2014. Freddie proudly served his country in the U.S. ARMY and was a member of Mt. Heights Baptist Church. Freddie was also a Mason and a member of Cedar Grove Lodge #403. Preceding Freddie in death were his father Freeman Stutts; mother Maggie Davis Cates and step-father John Cates. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years Diane Stutts; sons Kevin Stutts and wife Kelli and Landon Stutts; sister Nancy Stutts; brother Johnny Cates and wife Carolyn; grandchildren Trenton Stutts, Collin Stutts, and Brantlee Stutts; and many beloved dogs.
