Celebration of Life services for Sonya Deas Shaw, 44, was held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel with Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Interment immediately followed on the grounds of Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, LA under the direction of Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. The family welcomed guests for visitation Thursday, June 12,  2014 at the Mansfield Chapel from the hours of 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Sonya was born August 26, 1969 in Mansfield, LA and was called to dance with the angels on June 10, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She will be missed by those who knew her. Left to cherish the precious  memories of Sonya are her husband, Richard Shaw; parents Wanda and Larry Deas; maternal grandmother, Doris Huey, one son, Trevor Dean Heyen; two daughters: Shelley Raelyn Heyen and Annie Hazel Shaw; one sister, Sissy Hall and

Lula Belle Pierce David, 94, of Logansport, LA, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 12, 2014. She was born in Shepperd, TX on May 30, 1920 to Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Pierce. Funeral services honoring the life of Richard Lee Foshee were held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, June  15, 2014 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, LA. Interment followed at Pollard Cemetery in Converse, LA. Visitation was on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rose- Neath in Mansfield. Richard was born on March 20, 1959 to his parents John Wesley Foshee and Nell Foshee Vaughn. T.J. McCall

A service to honor the life of T.J. McCall, 35, will be held on Thursday, May the 22nd at 10 am at Rose Neath Chapel in Mansfield. Burial will follow at Paul Family Cemetery in Converse. Visitation will be held at Rose Neath Funeral Home from 5 to 9 pm on Wednesday, May the 21st. The native of Converse was born on February 20, 1979 and passed from this life on May 19,  2014 from natural causes. While his time on Earth was too short, the positive memories held by those left behind will be longlasting. T.J. was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, earning a degree in Kinesiology. While at SLU, he certified as a teacher in Health, Physical Education, and Social Studies. With a love of basketball, he served as head varsity basketball coach at Bossier, Marksville, Converse, and Zwolle during his career. Making several playoff runs, sending athletes to college on scholarships, and a deep passion for his work earned him the honor of Shreveport Times Coach of the Year in 2007.
