Mansfield Mayor John Mayweather reminds citizens that the City of Mansfield will actively enforce ordinances and codes that have been adopted. These standards, in addition to codes specifically designed to address blight and nuisances, will be imposed in an effort to maintain a clean, healthy environment for the community. Ordinances concerning tampering with water facilities will also be strictly imposed.
The Code Enforcement Department will be working in partnership with Mansfield citizens to enforce Ordinances 3 and 4 of 2019 related to high grass and weeds, junk motor vehicles, trash, dangerous or neglected buildings, and other code violations of this type.
Mayweather said, “The Code Enforcement Department desires to promote a higher quality of life by encouraging awareness in compliance with city codes in order to stabilize and reverse deterioration of neighborhoods.”
