Technical College Shares Vision for Mansfield Campus

Article Image Alt Text

Despite going through some changes due to the state budget, Northwest Louisiana Technical College is moving forward with a vision to improve and better focus on the technical college’s Mansfield Campus. Their vision focuses on the flexibility and needs of the community and customized facilities.

To accomplish this vision, new Director Earl Meador has kept Interim Director Dianne Clark on as Chief Workforce Development Officer/ Campus Dean for the Mansfield Campus to have someone stationed at their smaller, rural campus with hopes of revitalizing it.

Every community is different, so administration plans to give the DeSoto Parish community what they need and not just what they think they need.

Administration is trying to think outside the box and fine-tune their programs to match the community needs.

So intense was the fighting at the Crossroads area that Lt.
