Logansport traveled to South Louisiana to take on the Basile Bearcats this past Friday night. Basile came away with the 26-18 win. Once again the Tigers fell victim to one sided officiating, being flagged 12 times for 87 yards, while Basile was only flagged 2 times for 10 yards. For the fourth time this season the Tigers won the statistical battle, 322 yards to 312, only to come up short on the scoreboard. With the loss the Tigers fall to 1-3 on the season. This week the Tigers begin a 4 week home stand with a game against parish rival Mansfield. Basile took the opening kickoff and drove 60 yards in 8 plays to take an early 6-0 lead. With Logansport driving on their first possession, they were bitten by the turnover bug as they fumbled the ball away at the Basile 11 yard line.
