LHS Football Team Seeks Sponsors for Championship Rings

Dear Editor and Logansport Tiger Fans and Supporters, The Logansport High School Tigers recently completed a PERFECT football season by winning the LHSAA Class A State Championship with a record of 14 wins and 0 losses. Throughout the season the Tigers scored 571 points and gained 5392 yards while only allowing 147 points and recording 5 shutouts.

Tigers Reap Benefits of Championship Season

The Logansport Tigers are the 2016 Louisiana Class A State Champions after defeating the Haynesville Tornado in the State Finals. The accolades keep coming for the Tigers as they celebrate a perfect 14-0 season. First came the announcement of the DeSoto Parish All Parish Team. Tigers named to the team were; Braylen Wilson, Joe Caraway, Dalton Shaw, Debell Crawford, Carlton McCoy, Devin Gabriel, John Stephens, Nakendric Peterson, Langston Murray, Austin Edgar and Torel Norris. After allowing only 1 touchdown in District 3-1A play, the Tigers dominated the All District Team. Named First team offense were Shaw at Quarterback, Crawford at Running back, Stephens at Wide Receiver, Murray at Tackle, McCoy at Center and Edgar at Kicker. On defense Murray at Tackle,
