LOGANSPORT, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs.Stella Adams, 87, were held at 2:00PM Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Logansport, La where Rev. Charles Hall and Rev.Timothy Roberson officiated. Burial followed at Cool Springs Cemetery in Logansport, LA. The family received friends at First Baptist Church in Logansport, LA on Tuesday, May 23,2017 from 5 PM till 7 PM.Stella was born on July 15, 1929 to J.B. and Verue Marshall and entered into rest on May 20, 2017. Stella graduated from Oak Grove High School Class of 1948 in Stanley, LA.Mrs. Adams and her husband ran Adams Chicken Farms for many years.Together they owned Adams Ford Dealer ship in Logan sport, LA. Stella was a member of First Baptist Church in Logan sport and a former choir member.She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grand mother.Preceding Stella in death are her parents, J.B.

MANSFIELD, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Patsy Booker, 76, were held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2017 at Rose- Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA where Jessie Brandon Booker and Loren Spencer officiated. Burial followed at Prude Cemetery in Stanley, LA. The family received friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6PM till 8PM. Patsy Ann Ferguson Booker was born on November 5, 1940 to Jesse and Edna Ferguson and entered into rest on May 6, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Patsy accepted Christ at an early age. She played piano in church as a child and young adult in the Pentecostal Church. Patsy attended Pelican All Saints High School. Preceding Patsy in death was her parents, Jesse and Edna Ferguson; son, James Franklin Booker, Jr.; and two other sons that passed away at birth. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, James F.

GRAND CANE, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Robert “Bob” Richardson, 84, were held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2017 at Grand Cane United Methodist Church in Grand Cane, LA where Reverend Kathy Fitzhugh officiated. Burial followed at Grand Cane Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA. Bob was born on October 23, 1932 to John and Irene Richardson and entered into rest on May 8, 2017. After graduation in 1955 from LSU with a degree in Dairy Science, he ran his own dairy farm in, Desoto Parish, for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grand-daddy. Preceding Robert in death are his parents, John and Irene Richardson; his in-laws, Richard and Phyllis Hosey; son, Robert Hosey Richardson; daughter, Leah Saloom; and brothers, Ted Richardson and Lewis Richardson.

Grand Cane, LA Services for Marie Tilleux Davis of Grand Cane were held at the Smyrna Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 30. Visitation was held begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. and Interment in Smyrna Cemetery. Marie passed away after a lengthy illness at the place of her birth in the Smyrna Community on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the age of 86. Marie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher, and art enthusiast. Marie was born on March 13, 1931 to Clarice Vivian “Tip” McMichael Tilleux and Albert Emerson Tilleux. Her education was received in the public schools of DeSoto and Caddo Parishes. She graduated from C. E. Byrd High School where she was a proud member of the Hall of Fame. In 1953 she received a B.A. degree in Art from Northwestern Louisiana University. She later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

In Loving Memory of Mr. Robert Joseph McGough A memorial service for Mr. Robert McGough, 80 were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 at the Lake Palestine United Methodist Church in Chandler, Texas. Robert was born in Bastrop, Louisiana on August 26, 1936 to John Lawrence McGough and Minnie Mae Hall McGough and passed away on April 26, 2017 at his home in Flint, Texas. Robert was a retired Louisiana and Texas educator having served as a biology and special education teacher, coach, and administrator. A 1955 graduate of Bastrop High School, Robert played football, earning All-District and All-North Louisiana honors as a fullback. Also, Robert was a member of the track team throwing the javelin. In 1959, Robert earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Northeast Louisiana State University. He continued both sports in college serving as the track team captain.

Betty was born on January 5, 1946 to James Sebren and Julia Sebren Raborn and entered into rest on May 1, 2017. Preceding Betty in death is her father, James Leroy Sebren; paternal grandparents, George and Alpha Sebren and maternal grandparents Albert and Maude Ott.

The family received friends at Union Springs Baptist Church on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 4:00 PM till 9:00 PM. “Topsy” was born on October 12, 1940 to Bernard Ward and Eleah Studer Gamble and entered into rest on May 5, 2017. Preceding “Topsy” in death are her mother, Eleah Studer Gamble and great grandson, Cy Williams.
