Secretary of State Schedler to Attend Mansfield Female Collage Museum Open House

Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler will be attending a Holiday Open House at the Mansfield Female Collage Museum, located at 101 Monroe Street in Mansfield. Museum Administrative Coordinator Barbara Valentine 
stated that the public is cordially invited to stop by between 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 7 to tour the museum, meet Mr. Schedler and enjoy refreshments. Over the years, they have owned numerous wagons and buggies and have traveled  widely participating in “wagon train rides”. Voters Elect Evans as DeSoto DA; Burgess re-elected Judge

The November 4 election’s final tally has named Gary Evans as the victor over incumbent Richard Z. Johnson, Jr., with Evans garnering 5,001 votes, or 52.45%, of the vote to Johnson’s 4,534 votes, or 47.55%. Evans,
who was the Chief Deputy District Attorney until July 15 of this year, ran a tough advertising campaign against Johnson, which seemed to pay off for him at the polls.
