If awards were presented to the person that traveled the furthest to attend this year’s Grand Cane Pioneer Christmas Parade and Festival, it would have to be presented to Bill and Sharon Shetley’s guest, Pastor Hoppy Pohlmann, who is a citizen of South Africa.

His trip has enabled him to spread the love and gospel of Jesus Christ in the United States.
Projects addressed by Xhosa include an AIDS Home, “House of Mercy”, which is a type of Hospice, preschools, Foster Care Homes and Orphanages, sewing lessons and several other life skill opportunities.
