Khris Middleton, a basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks, visited the Mansfield Wolverines on July 12. When not on the court, the professional basketball player plays golf. Middleton visited Mansfield to speak with some of Mansfield High School’s athletes and to help promote Mansfield’s First Tee program.
Middleton spoke to the MHS Football Team about the importance of education, staying out of trouble, watching what is posted on social media and eating and exercising.
While telling the players about the importance of education, Middleton revealed that he was not allowed to play basketball his freshman year of high school because he received a D. This was the first lesson he realized about school. No matter what he does, he has to get good grades.
