No Place Like HOME-coming, 21-0

Article Image Alt Text

It was homecoming in Stonewall. Everyone always looks forward to this game every year and all of the festivities that come with it. The Griffin football team was focused on two things this week. That was bouncing back from their first loss of season last week and avenging their loss to Woodlawn from last season. No matter what, everyone knows the Homecoming game is always going to be a good one.

The Griffins received the kickoff to start the game. The first quarter was mainly a defensive battle. Both teams found small bursts of offense, but neither team could capitalize as they would go into the second quarter scoreless.
