That’s a wrap on the 2020 football season. To say it was a crazy season for the Griffins would be an understatement. It started with summer works being limited and not knowing if there would even be a season at all. Finally being able to have contact in practice and knowing there would be an 8 game season was good news for a Griffin football team that had a lot to prove and a lot of potential. The season started off to rough start, losing their first two games, after a game was canceled they took a game six hours away in Ocean Springs Mississippi, after another loss and being hit with injuries, the Griffins started the season 0-4. It looked like it would be a rough season, but the Griffins kept fighting no matter what their record showed. They finally got their first win against BTW. Just before the homecoming game, the Griffins found out that Northwood had to forfeit their first two games, which meant the 1-4 record was now 2-3, and they were 2-0 in district play.
