In order for our nation to move in the right direction our attitude is equally as important as our ability. We must first become more open minded with a better desire to understand one another, that would be an amazing start. We must always share positive ideals because the way you think determines the way you feel and the way you feel influences the way you act. Teach our tongue sometimes to say, “I just don’t know,” dignity is the capacity to hold back on the tongue what never should have been in the mind in the first place. An open mind leaves a change for someone to drop a worthwhile thought in it. In the midst of all of our ups and downs we must keep the faith. When we don’t work together life is never what it’s suppose to be and we will never reach the finish line. A productive person has a strong desire to more forward and is willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Lady Tigers Conquer Lady Byrd Yellow Jackets 77 to 43

The Mansfield Wolverines and their faithful fans traveled to Monroe on Thursday, November 16, 2023, to watch the MHS football team take on the Panthers of Sterlington High School. The Non-Select Division III 18th ranked 2A Wolverines were pitted against the number 2 ranked 3A Monroe- area school, and the young men from Mansfield entered the field ready for the challenge. While the final score was definitely not what the team and Mansfield faithful wanted to see, the Wolverines kept the crowd excited as four full quarters of playoff action were witnessed by the traveling supporters.

After a week off from receiving a bye in the first round, the Griffins were ready to get back on the field in the second round against Deridder.

The Mansfield Wolverine Football team traveled to Marksville to face the Marksville Tigers on Friday, November 10, 2023. The Class 2A Wolverines were pitted against a Class 3A team for playoff action again this season due to playoff restructuring by the LHSAA. However, despite the continual mist, worn playing field, and facing a larger team, MHS Head Coach Darrell Barbay was able to use his strongman running game, quick defense, and skillful clock management to defeat the higher ranked Tigers.
