TERESA ANN BAGLEY

Teresa Ann Bagley, 66 of Carthage, Texas entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco.

Teresa was born on June 27, 1955 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Billy Gene and Bonnie Fern Young Phillips. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, Grannie, Mom and friend to many. She was a spiritual woman after God’s own heart.

As pastor of Joel 2:28 Fellowship Church, Teresa leaves behind a small but mighty church family equipped to carry on the work. She also leaves behind a Godly legacy for her family and friends.

In 2018, Teresa and her good friend Marilyn Wilson, known as “Salt and Pepper”, started a weekly men and women jailhouse ministry in DeSoto Parish.

Nita Elise Perigo Chambless, age 81, of Cumming, Georgia was called home to Heaven Monday, November 15, 2021.

The family will be receiving visitors 10- 11am followed by a memorial service at 11am, Monday, November 22 at Cumming First United Methodist Church. Inurnment will follow on Monday, December 6 at 1:30pm in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

Nita is survived by her children Martha and David Joyce, of Powder Springs, Georgia; Ben Petree, of Atlanta, Georgia; Jack and Diane Petree, of Katy, Texas; step-children Robert and Jennifer Chambless, of Toccoa, Georgia; Becky and Mark Elliott, of Clarkesville, Georgia; 10 grandchildren: Hunter Joyce (Elizabeth), Elise Joyce, Benjamin Petree, Kathryn and Sarah Petree, Jonathon and Jessica Chambless, Austin, Carson and Sari Elliott, and 3 great grandchildren: Britain and Brooklyn Chambless, Jayden Chambless-Rucker.

Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Carolyn Diane McDaniel Graham, 67, were held at 2:00 pm on November 9, 2021 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Officiating the service was Brother Tommy Allen.

Carolyn was born to John Thomas McDaniel and her mother on February 15, 1954 in Duluth, Georgia and entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2021 in Longstreet, Louisiana.

Services for John Wayne Walker, 80, were held at 10:00 a.m. on November 5, 2021. A visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Officiating the service was Brother Thumper Miller.

John was born to Jeptha Faye Walker and Jimmie Pattison Walker on September 24, 1941 in Mansfield, Louisiana and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Mansfield, Louisiana.

John was a resident of Mansfield and worked as a Pump Operator for many years. A good, Christian, Southern man, John enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and watching the deer on his camera. He touched many lives over the years and will be missed dearly.

A private family service honoring the life of Clinton Paul Jenkins will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church in Mansfield. Inurnment will immediately follow at Sloan Cemetery next to the church.

Clinton was born on November 7, 1984, to Ned Walter Jenkins, III and Lisa Evans Jenkins in Hampton, Virginia. He passed away on September 1, 2021, in Many, Louisiana, as the result of an automobile accident. Clint was a graduate of Converse High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, TN. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and he enjoyed working on anything mechanical.

Edda Kay Ringer Lowe passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 after an extended hospitalization following a stroke. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Internment will immediately follow the service at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend McKee Williams assisted by Reverend William E. Nolan.

Kay was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 14, 1942, the daughter of Edward and Catherine Ringer. Her family moved to Gonzales, Louisiana, where she grew up. She was a graduate of Gonzales High School, where she was the head majorette for the high school band.

Funeral services for Mrs. Melissa Runnels, 57, of Keachi, LA were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Longstreet United Methodist Church with Rev. Dean Register officiating. Burial followed in the Runnels Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation was held from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service.

Melissa was born February 20, 1964 in Mansfield, Louisiana. She passed away from this life on October 16, 2021 in San Augustine, Texas.

Melissa was one of six children born to the marriage of A.J. and Charlie Fate Briggs Runnels. She was raised and schooled in South Louisiana graduating from Ascension Catholic High School.

Melissa worked in welfare and food stamp offices in DeSoto and Red River parishes. She worked as an account specialist for Fastenall. She loved crafting and spending time with her beloved grandson.
