By: Brittany Green

On September 12, the National Association of University Women (Mansfield Branch) unveiled Mansfield's first Little Free Library. The Little Free Library is located in the Desoto Estates, just outside the community center. Little Free Libraries have been springing up all around the country. The libraries, which usually resemble over-sized birdhouses, contain books that community members can borrow, read, and return. NAUW installed its free library and stocked it with children's books, hoping to inspire neighborhood kids to read more.
