Elizabeth Delafield Wins 2nd National Championship

This past weekend, Elizabeth Delafield, a 2012 gradate of Logansport High School, earned her second consecutive National Junior College Athletic Association Division II National Championship. Delafield, a Sophomore pitcher for Louisiana State University-Eunice, was the winning pitcher in the National Championship Games against Jones County Junior College. In the championship game Delafield pitched 2.1 innings allowing 3 hits and no runs to earn the win.

LHS Girls Track Bring Home State Honors

The Logansport Girls Track Team traveled to Baton Rouge and participated in the State Track Meet held on May 9. Pictured from left to right are Dajah Gant, Emily Laenger, Daisha Stephens, and Jasmine White, members of the 4X400 Relay that won a state championship. LHS Senior Mallory Guillotte Signs with Centenary Ladies Softball

Logansport High School graduating senior Mallory Guillotte was recently honored with a reception at the school as she signed with Centenary College in Shreveport. Mallory will be trading in her purple and gold Lady Tiger jersey to wear the college colors of maroon and white of the Centenary Ladies Softball program

Mansfield High School Girl’s Track Athletes Place at State Meet

NDHS Golf Team Finishes 3rd in Division II State Tourney

The North DeSoto Boyʼs Golf Team finished 3rd in the Division II State Tournament on May 5-6 at The Club at Huntington Park. Junior Matt Ramsey led the way finishing in 2nd with a 71-72. Also Junior Nolan Timon finished T7 with a 78-78.

Fittingly this very important day comes at a time where the down time is half way expired and the pain of reality stays its course and the hope of something not yet realized looms on the near horizon.

North Desoto Girls placed 2nd in the 1-4A District Track Championship held at Benton. Places included 1st - Benton - 181 pts.; 2nd - North Desoto - 102 pts.; 3rd - Huntington - 78  pts. and 4th - Woodlawn - 77 pts
