Martha Lynn Ware Heard July 27, 1950-March 6, 2018

Graveside services for Martha Lynn Ware Heard were held on Friday, March 9, 2018, at the Alva Municipal Cemetery in Alva,Oklahoma with Rev. Dr. Carol Cook Moore officiating. Interment was under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva. Louisiana Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m.Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. Martha Lynn Ware Heard,daughter of the late James Elwardand Francis Charlene (Hammett) Ware, was born July 27, 1950, in Monroe, Louisiana, and passed away March 6, 2018, in Oklahoma City,Oklahoma, at the age of 67.Martha graduated from West Monroe High School with the Class of 1968. She then attended Louisiana Tech University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree inEarly Child hood Education and her Master’s Degree in Family and Consumer Science.After graduation, she moved to Mansfield, Louisiana to work for the DeSoto Parish Cooperative Extension Service.

Grand Cane, LA-Funeral services for Clifford Scott Lynch, 54, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Rose- Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Dean Register and Rev. Charles Hall. Interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Keatchie, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Scott was born February 25, 1963 in Alexandria, LA and passed away on February 17, 2018. He graduated from Logansport High School in 1982. He was a hard working electrician with Riley-Beaird and later at Willis Knighton. He loved his tractor, animals, motorcycles, and music. Left to cherish Scott’s memory are his parents, Charles (Steve) and Maxine Evans Lynch; sister, Shelley Lynch Jackson and husband, Lane; and brother, Steven Lynch. Pallbearers will be John Whitaker, Ronnie Lee, Donnie Lee, Frank Leone, Curt Evans, and Britt Garrett. Honorary pallbearers will be Willis Knighton Maintenance Staff.

Aug. 28, 1937-Feb. 5, 2018Graveside services were held on February 7th, 2018 for Mr. O.B. Wadkins at Grove Hill Cemetery. Mr. Wadkins passed away on February 5, 2018. Services were performed by Terrell Scott. Mr. Wadkins was born on August 28th, 1937 to Raymond and Eulah Morgan Wadkins. Mr. Wadkins is predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers, Wallace, Leman, Travis, Dewey and 1 sister, Ada. Mr. Wadkins is survived by his sweetheart of 59 years Eudie Scott Wadkins. Two children: Scott (Mona) Wadkins of Mansfield and Raymond (Deidra) Wadkins of Winnfield. Seven grandchildren: Jonathan (Teresa) Wadkins, Jennifer(Thomas) Wadkins of Mansfield, Kattie Wadkins and Carissa (Joshua) Bouie, Drexel(Chris) Vercher, Kirk (Victoria)Wright, and Dawn (Grant) Wright and eleven great grandchildren. Pall Bearers were Scott Wadkins, Raymond Wadkins, Jonathan Wadkins, Trenton Wadkins. Chris Vercher, and Kirk Wright. The family wishes to thank Superior Hospice for their for their car of Mr.

Martha Eubanks

Nov. 25, 1918-Feb. 10, 2018Martha Eubanks, 99, of Logansport, Louisiana passed away on February 10, 2018 in Shreveport. She was born on November 25, 1918 in Shelbyville,Texas to James Munroe Green and Sarah Josephine Johnson Green. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Logansport with Bro. Charles Hall and Dr. William T. Crosby officiating. Interment will follow at O.E. Price Memorial Cemetery in Logansport. A visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Logansport. Martha attended Stephen F. Austin State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics. While on a double date one evening, Martha happened to meet Claude Eubanks. Something caught her eye, and later the two decided to see where this interest took them. It was the start of something wonderful and on June 20, 1942, Martha and Claude were married.

July 22, 1920-Feb. 10, 2018Blanche Irene Anderson Behan,97, of Mansfield, Louisiana received her reward in heaven on February 10, 2018.The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February15, 2018 at Rose-Neath’s Chapel in Mansfield, Louisiana with Bro. Larry Pridmore of Southside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Zions Rest Cemetery in Wallace Community. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Rose-Neath’s Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Blanche was born in The Wallace Community on July22, 1920. She graduated from Pelican High School. Blanche was married to Clarence Ray Behan (Bunk) on February 9, 1941; they were married 31 years. Blanche worked on a relay line building munitions for World War II at the munitions plant for about 3years when she was in her early twenties and her husband was overseas in the army.
