Did You Know

By:  Raymond Powell

Most DeSoto Parish residents should they ever hear of Wallace Lake would not consider it an important part of our history. Wallace is a portion of DeSoto Parish’s northern boundary with Caddo Parish. The Business Doctor

By Dr. Raymond Youngblood Jr.

Question, is there anyone that works for you that thinks they know better than you as what to do in YOUR place of business? They have lots of ideas.

They present them none stop. They say things like, “We have to find a new way to do this.” “I have a better way to do it.” “If I had my business, I would do this, and I would do that…” They can rally other staffers against your concepts and policies. They hold sidebar conversations that taint the fabric of your business. They are full of what if’s and if this and if that. We country folks got a saying, “If ‘IF’ was a fifth of liquor we would all be drunk.”
