Mansfield Enterprise Loses Long Time Staff Member and Friend

Article Image Alt Text
The end of 2013 was a sad one for The Mansfield Enterprise staff with the passing of long time employee, Lucelle Edwards. “Mrs. Lucy” was not only a valued employee but also a friend to all that knew her with her calm, quiet voice that brought about office tranquility in a hectic business that runs on deadlines. Her reassurance that all would fall in line for the weekly edition, as well as her proofing the paper with her eagle eye for both grammatical as well as spelling errors, made each week’s paper the best that it could be for our small staff. In fact, Mrs. Lucy would say, “We’re small in staff, but we’re mighty”.
