It was easy for Alisha Munds to take the role of Patsy Cline to heart. Munds plays Cline in the Northwestern Summer Dinner Theatre production of “Always Patsy Cline,” which will be presented July 29 – Aug. 1 and Aug. 5 – 8 in the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6 p.m. and the show getting underway at 7 p.m. “Growing up, I heard lots of Elvis (Presley) and Patsy Cline,” said Munds who is from Shreveport. “My dad made sure I knew their music. His mother, my grandmother, Alta Burks was one of Patsy’s backup singers in California. She would also sing Patsy Cline songs on local radio stations. When I would see my grandmother, she would sing Patsy Cline songs to me, so her music is dear to my heart.”
