Patsy Marie McKinnon passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013. Patsy was born January 28, 1956 to Plummer Bufkin, Jr. and Elvie Ruth Adams Bufkin. Visitation began at 12 Noon, on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Rose-Neath in Mansfield, LA. Services followed at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Internment was at
Wallace Cemetery in the Wallace Community. Patsy was preceded in death by her son; Joseph I. McKinnon, father; Plummer Bufkin, Jr., maternal grandparents; Jimmy Adams and Susie Adams Clanton, paternal grandparents; Plummer and Velma Bufkin. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Chuck McKinnon; her mother Elvie Adams Bufkin; daughter Brandy R. McKinnon; sister Linda Cordova and husband Bobby; brother Harvey Ray Allen and wife Betty and also
numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services for Ruby Faye Morris, 91, will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Buck Furlow. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service for Harlon Renfro Blackmon, 76, were held 1:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Thumper Miller officiating. Burial followed in Cool Springs Cemetery
in Logansport, LA. The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Harlon was a self-made man. He worked for Nabors Trailers for 40 years and when it closed he was 50 years old and without a job. He started Blackmon Trailers and made it into a thriving business that supports his family today. Even though Harlon had power, he had a heart of gold and was always concerned for his family and wanted them to get along. His greatest joy was his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved hosting gatherings and having events of people. He loved cooking and eating
