Funeral services for Henry Floyd Patton, Jr., 46, were 10:00 AM, Friday, January 17, 2014 at First Baptist Church Keithville, LA with Reverend Mike Stowell officiating. Burial followed in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Keithville, LA. The family received friends at First Baptist Church Keithville, LA on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5:00 PM until time of service on Friday. Floyd was born June 1, 1967 in Shreveport, LA to Henry and Evelyn Jones Patton and passed away on January 11, 2014. During his life he was a carpenter and hotel renovator. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Floyd and Mary Patton and Johnnie and Beatrice  Jones. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Emily Woods  Patton; son Henry Floyd Patton, III; daughters Amber Blair Patton and Whitney Elizabeth Patton; step-son Johnathan Levi Tulley; stepdaughter Auburn Rain Tulley;

James Frederick Boley

Funeral services for James Frederick Boley 79 of Logansport, LA were held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00pm at Willow Grove Community Church in Joaquin, TX. Rev. Melba Rodgers officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends at the church from 5:00pm Friday, January 17, 2014 until time of service.  James was born on November 13, 1934 in Shreveport, LA. He entered into eternal rest on January
11, 2014 at Lifecare Hospital in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mildred Boley, Buna and George Baxter; and son James “Andy” Boley. He is survived by his wife Fe P. Boley; daughter Deborah Boley Dubose and husband Michael; grandchildren Devin Boley, Dawlton Boley, Kenneth Cunningham, David Dubose,  Zakkery Dubose. Honoring him as pallbearers were Foster Gamble, Ernie Howsey, Randy Moncrief, Leon Horton, Mike Higgs, Herb DalSanto, Johnny Gamble, William Gamble, Frankie Wheeler

Sharon Latance Burton

Sharon Latance Burton, 67 passed away on January 18, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She was born in Logansport, LA on August 12, 1946 to William R. Dick and Evelyn Furlow Dick. She is survived by her daughter Denni Burton Melancon; two stepchildren Donella Burton and Duane Burton; sister Karen Craig; brother William Dick and wife Sara; granddaughter Lucy Parry; stepgrandson Colson Burdick; seven nieces and nephews; fourteen great nieces and nephews and two greatgreat nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Burton and parents William R. Dick and Evelyn Furlow Dick. Sharon was a bank teller for many years. She loved  spending time with her family and friends. She was also a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in the Hunter Community. Visitation was held at Rose- Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA Monday, January 20, 2014 from

Barbara Carol Farris passed away January 13, 2014 in Frierson, LA. She was born to Robert C. Vandiver and Evelyn Stockton Vandiver on December 10, 1943 in  Mansfield, LA. Kenneth Cloud

Visitation for Kenneth Cloud, 67, will be held from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home, Coushatta, LA. Mr. Cloud was born January 1, 1947 in Natchitoches, LA and passed away January 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Eva Cloud. Mr. Cloud is survived by two sons, Julian Cloud and wife, Stacey of Mansfield, LA and Kenneth Cloud and wife, Lea of North Carolina; one daughter, Sherry Floyd and husband, Robert of DeVille, LA; a special person, Dorothy Cloud; two sisters, Manette Brister of Provencal, LA and Patricia Goddard of Friendsville, TN; and six grandchildren.
