On December 29th, 2020 after a lengthy illness, John B. Kreamer entered into heavenly rest. He was born on July 2rd, 1936 in Lock Haven, PA.

At the age of 20 he married his high school sweetheart, JoAnn Merchant, and together they had 4 children. One of his first jobs was at Harrisburg Glass where he was mentored and learned his trade as a glazier. He later owned and operated his own glass business for 25 years.

In 1980, John moved to Logansport, LA. He ran an Otasco store, was a car salesman and a service representative at Auto World in Mansfield, and after retirement worked part time at Wag-a-Bag, also in Mansfield.

John loved to travel, hunt, fish, and play golf but his most favorite past time was being at home on his back porch looking out over his pond drinking a cup of coffee. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and for always being on time or even early. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Stanley for many years then worshipped at Living Word in Mansfield until his Homecoming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel I. and Oscar P. Kreamer and

brother Ronald R. Kreamer. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, JoAnn Kreamer of Mansfield and brother, Donald P. Kreamer of Mechanicsburg, PA. Left also to cherish his memory are his daughters Kerry Lynn (Burt) Smith of Shreveport, LA. and Lori Glessner, of Mechanicsburg, PA; sons David (Janine) of Bossier City, LA. and Todd (Angie) of Mansfield. John had 11 grandchildren; Gary Lee Glessner, Fallyn Smith Brown, Matt Kreamer, Dan Kreamer, Bryant Glessner, Mallory Glessner, Logan Smith, Kelsey Kreamer Wheless, Caden Smith, Jenna Kreamer and Bethany Glessner and 15 greatgrandchildren.

Due to Covid concerns, the family has chosen to celebrate his 84 years with a private family memorial at his home overlooking his beloved pond.
