St. Nick Thrilled Over Enterprise’s Special Santa Section & Pastor’s Christmas Columns; Thank you, Sponsors!

It has been a tradition for The Enterprise to team up and help Santa with his letters from DeSoto Parish, Joaquin, and Pleasant Hill children for several decades. This year with postal issues plaguing the country he needed our help more than ever.

Believe me, we did our part with special Santa letter elf Kaycee Deas, along with staff members Martha Rivers and Julie Morris typing over 18 pages of letters that expressed the children’s heartfelt wishes and want lists. To our unsung behind the scenes graphics designer for NTN, Jim McAlphin,...you did a fantastic job on the Santa Letter cover and layout while placing the letters in just the right order. We thank you!

In summary it appeared that the ever popular cookies and milk seemed to be the most promised treat that Santa would receive as a snack, with the reindeer set to receive a majority of carrots (I guess to help them see in the dark). Some surprises Santa found as snacks included fried chicken, Sonic, and McDonalds...even venison (?!) with the reindeer being offered some pickles, leaves, and corn. Thank good-ness for magic or they wouldn’t be able to lift off of the ground!
