Kim’s Korner: News from Mansfield Nursing Center

(Editor’s Note: We welcome columnist for Mansfield Nursing Center, Kim Palmer, back to The Enterprise with her weekly column about the Center and their residents’ activities. She has been absent for several years, but will once again be letting our readers know that being a Senior Citizen doesn’t mean the fun is over!)

Wow! It’s been a long time! But I’m back in the swing of things and ready to let everybody know what’s happening at Mansfield Nursing Center. Y’all know its Deer season?! And we have our corn feeder up. And guess what? We got to watch a Mama deer and her little baby get a bite of corn for supper yesterday. Y’all don’t worry, we’re not gonna shoot none of them. We just like watching them.

Did everybody have a good Halloween? We sure did! All the staff dressed up. We saw a leopard, pirate, Minnie Mouse, bees, and much more, but Mrs. Camille took all the honors, dressed as a Witch Doctor. Let me tell y’all, she stole the show! And we voted her as our favorite!! We appreciated everyone that dressed up; it really made our Halloween special. When it comes to being special, our staff at MNC makes sure we are taken care of.
