Voters Elect Adams, McCartney and Gasper to Lead 42nd Judicial System

The November 3rd election’s fmal unofficial tally has named Charles Adams as the victor over incumbent District Attorney for the 42nd Judicial System Gary V Evans with Adam’s garnering 8,893 votes, or 62.00%, of the vote to Evans 5,433 votes, or 38.00%. Voters seemed to prefer the positive ad campaigns run by Adams, Amy Burford McCartney and Nicholas Gasper telling of their attributes and how their offices would be run instead of using negative and questionable tactics by slinging mud.

42nd Judicial Judge for District A Amy McCartney received 8,972 votes, or 65.00%, over challenger Brenda Ford’s 4,885 or 35.00%. Stonewall attorney Nicholas Gasper and Deputy District Attorney for the 42nd District George Winston both sought retired Judge Charles Adams former position, with Gasper coming out the whiner with 9,016 votes or 65.00% over Winston’s 4,903 votes or 35.00%. Adams retired his position as Judge after 24 years seeking to better the 42nd Judicial System as District Attorney thus creating the vacancy
