Stonewall Homemakers Club Visits Scottish Rite Cathedral

The Stonewall Homemakers met on October 10, 2019 at Stonewall Town Hall at 9:30 a.m. and carpooled to the Shreveport Scottish Rite Cathedral. The Cathedral was designed by local architect, Edward Neild and was built in 1917 at a cost of $186,477.28. The building houses a three story theater, library, kitchen and other rooms. The building has been featured in movies and is used for weddings and other events. The tour was conducted by General Secretary, Gary Gribble.
