In developing a painting, you must prep the canvas. So the class began with discussing the necessities for creating the perfect cookie and design concepts. Next, as in painting, the class began mixing icing, coloring it and tinting it to match the color palette. Finally, the moment arrived for hands-on experience. Everybody enjoyed themselves adding sprinkles, sugar pearls and colored sugar to their edible artwork.
