The Logansport Tigers earned a return trip to the Semi finals with a convincing 40-18 win over the visiting Varnado Wildcats. The win improved the Tigers record to 13-0. In the Semifinals, the Tigers will travel to Edgard, LA to take on the West St John Rams. Wes St John is the number 1 seed in the playoffs and the Tigers are the fifth seed. This will be the 3rd meeting all time between the 2 schools with the first 2 also being in the semi finals. Logansport lost in 1993 at home and traveled to Edgard in 1994 and also fell to the Rams. Against Varnado, the Tiger offense rolled up a season high 580 yards while the defense limited the Wildcats to 237 yards.

The Tigers kicked off to the Wildcats to begin the game. On 3rd down the Wildcats attempted a pass. The pass was tipped by the Wildcat receiver and was intercepted by Jerrius Jackson Jr. Logansport took over on the Wildcat 16 yard line. On the 3rd play of the drive, Madrid Johnson Jr. scored on a 2 yard run to put the Tigers on the board. Austin Edgar added the extra point for a 7-0 lead with 8:49 left in the quarter. Varnado was forced to punt on their next possession. Tresmin Brown broke free on the second play of the drive and raced 51 yards for the score. Edgar was again good on the extra point for a 14-0 lead with 6:30 left in the quarter. On their next possession the Wildcats were able to break through for a 45 yard touchdown run. The pass for the conversion failed and the Tiger lead was 14-6 with 4:16 left in the first.
