Demons’ Record Shattering Zeek Woodley Wins Louisiana Player of Week Award

After breaking Northwestern State’s 40-year-old career scoring mark and leading the Demons to three victories, including a pair over the Southland Conference champion and a runner-up, senior swingman Zeek Woodley was voted the Louisiana collegiate men’s Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

In his final two games last week, Woodley averaged 24.5 points, shot 52 percent from the floor, 45 percent on 3-pointers and 94 percent (16- 17) at the free throw line, averaging six rebounds and 2.5 assists as NSU won at Stephen F. Austin 72-67 Thursday night and rolled past Central Arkansas 97-83 Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at Prather Coliseum.
