Going home celebration for Brother Grady F. Morris, Sr., 84, was held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, LA., with Reverend Toby Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Prude Cemetery, Mansfield, LA. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM. Grady was born in Oak Grove Community, LA to Cecil and Katherine Erwin Morris and passed away on October 23, 2013 in Bossier City, LA. He was an ordained Minister of the Gospel and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church. Preceding Grady in death were his wife Mary Temple; son Grady Ferman Morris, Jr.; sister Eleanor Lollar; and brothers Jarrell Morris, K. D. Morris, and his twin brother Joe Morris, and Baby Boy Morris. Those left behind to cherish Grady’s memory are his sister Willie Bessie Stewart; sons Arthur Lynn Morris, and Timothy Morris and wife Tina; daughters Madeline Springer and husband Robert and Thelma Inez Morris Moffett; daughterin- law Jeannie Morris; grandchildren, Jeremy Springer and wife Paula, Suzanne Justice and husband Stacey, Caleb Springer and wife Karla, Josh Springer and wife Lacey, Larry Wayne Moffett, Grady Wade Moffett, Scotty Morris and wife Carolyn, Davey Welborn and wife Amanda, Cody Welborn and wife Jennifer, Jody Rogers, and Creg Morris; 21 great grandchildren; and his best  friend Don Tibbetts; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Nurses and Medical Staff of DeSoto Regional, DeSoto Retirement and Rehabilitation and DeSoto EMS.
