North DeSoto Wrestling Teams Place in Tournaments

The North DeSoto Wrestling teams competed in the 2014 Cavalier Open wrestling tournament. We are proud to announce that we had the following wrestlers place in this tournament: 1st Place – Hunter Addison, Avery Murphy, Harley Sanders, Christ Norris and Justin Atkins. 2nd Place – Slayte Guidry, Will Henderson, Logan Ferguson, Colin McDaniel, John Michael Cristler, Chase Bates and Collin Bell. 3rd Place

Logansport Starts Season With Victory

The Logansport Lady Tiger Softball team started the 2014 season off with a bang defeating Ringgold 16-0. Senior pitcher Mallory Guillotte got the win on the mound with a no-hitter and drive in 6 runs at the plate. Guillotte hit a grand slam in her first at bat of the season

Mansfield Lady Wolverines Shutdown St. Louis Saints

What started out like a championship fight, throwing blow for blow and shot for shot, ended up not much of a contest. On Thursday, February 20, the No. 6 ranked Lady Wolverines hosted the No. 27  ranked St. Louis Saints, which resulted in a 44 to 25 win, enabling them to move on to the second round.

My buck was a wild deer killed in Pelican, Louisiana. He was the first buck I have personally found and shot. He was shot with a Browning 25-06 caliber rifle. He first appeared at the very end of my lane, 240 years away. When he

MHS Lady Wolverines Earn Bragging Rights in District 1-3A

With Green Oaks bringing the pressure in the fourth quarter, the Mansfield Lady Wolverines turned to the mightiest of mites to get a 49-40 win over the Lady Giants on Saturday afternoon, February 15, in a District 1-3A playoff to set the playoffs. After a three-point play by Jasmine Anderson to open the fourth quarter in the neutral site game at Southwood, Green Oaks  had pulled within 37-35 and appeared it might have the Lady Wolverines on the ropes
