Logansport’s 31st Annual River City Fest’s “Building Bridges” This Weekend

The 31st Annual River City Fest in Logansport is scheduled for this weekend with this year’s theme appropriately selected as “Building Bridges”. Festival co-chairs Karla Smith and Teresa Stephens stated that this year’s theme reflects not only toward the current new bridge construction, but also to Logansport residents’ positive outlook for a bright future ahead. Dates for the 2014 Fest will run May 16, 17 and 18.

Logansport Chamber of Commerce Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for The Crawfish Shack

On Thursday, May 8, Logansport’s newest business was honored with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The Crawfish Shack, owned by Keith Angelle and Cynthia Hendrickson, branched out from their Lumberton, Texas location and opened a second eatery in Logansport. Days of operation will be Thursday and Friday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM. You can get items to go, or dine there on one of the outdoor picnic tables.
