DORIS “ NANA” BYRD BYNOG

AUGUST 10, 1930 — JUNE 18, 2025

Funeral services celebrating the life of Doris “Nana” Byrd Bynog, 94, were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2025, at Union Springs Baptist Church, 1032 Hwy 191, in Converse, Louisiana with Bro. Ronnie Osborne officiating. Interment will follow in Union Springs Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana. The family received friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. Doris was born on August 10, 1930, in Vowell Mills, Louisiana to Thomas Jesse Byrd and Bertha Byrd and passed away June 18, 2025, in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bertha Byrd; husband, A.W. Bynog, Jr.; and daughter, Sharon Solley.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kevin Bynog (Debbie); daughter, Karen Hicks; grandchildren, Terry Hutchinson, Jr., Jason Bynog, April Flowers, Kevin Bynog, Jr. (Marnie), and Trinna Walker (Brian); great grandchildren, Sean and Seth Bynog, Kevin Bynog III (Little Misty), Tyler Bynog, Treavor Bynog, Emma Bynog, Riley Hutchinson, Samantha Hutchinson, Kaleb Walker (Lindsey), and Brianna Walker; great-great grandchildren, Micah Gonzalez, Sarah Bynog, Mayli Rose Bynog, Kasen Bynog, Austyn Alford, Charlotte Bynog, A.J. Flowers, Kayleigh Cornell, and Isabella Walker.

Honoring Doris as pallbearers were Kevin Bynog, Jr., Kevin Bynog III, Brian Walker, Treavor Bynog, Kelvin Gage, and Tim Bryson.

Serving as an honorary pallbearer was Terry Hutchinson, Jr. The Family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Mansfield Nursing Center and Staff for the love, care, and compassion that was shown to Nana.
