TOMMY RANDOLPH MASON

MAY 15, 1941 — APRIL 5, 2025
Tommy R. Mason, 84, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, at his home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Funeral service were held Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, Mansfield, Louisiana, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery. Officiating the will be Bro. Matt Ruiloba and Bro. Bob Latham. Tommy was born May 15, 1941, at home in DeSoto Parish to Robert Mason and Mary Mustin Mason. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife of 52 years by his side. He was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a dedicated employee of Nabors Trailers for 29 years until it’s closing, then worked Blackmon Trailers for 11 years, when he retired in 2003. He enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles with many of his lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jerry and brother Gene, who died in infancy.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda; daughter, Diana Burton and her husband, Joey; grandsons, Cole Peeples and Caleb Peeples; sister, Dixie Callender and her husband, Larry; nephews, Robert Mason, and his wife Casey, Stephen Mason, Marty Mason, Casey Callender, Kevin Callender and a host of cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were Robert Mason, Cole Peeples, Caleb Peeples, JonPat Clemons, Mike Curry and Shederick Adkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Leone, Neil Callender, Baba Pearah, and Antioch Men’s Sunday School Class.
The family would like to give special thanks to Rachel Sullivan, Louisiana Home Health and Superior Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
