ALICE MARIE GUILLOTTE LAFITTE

10/02/35 — 10/24/24 Funeral services for Alice Marie Guillotte Lafitte, 89, was held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 305 Jefferson Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rambin, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana with the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Officiating the service was Father Mark Franklin.

Alice was born October 2, 1935, in Kinder, Louisiana, to Dan and Lola Guillotte and passed away on October 24, 2024, in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Preceding Alice in death are her parents, Dan and Lola Guillotte; and siblings, Jane Bass, Talma Arbuckle, Lewis Guillotte, Billy Guillotte, and Gene Guillotte.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bearl Lafitte; four sons, Joseph Lafitte and wife, Suzonne, Jaimy Lafitte and wife, Lori, John Lafitte and wife Michelle, and Jerone Lafitte and wife, Tonya; two daughters, Joyce Lafitte-Nesom and husband, Wade and Jeanie Hutchinson and husband, Robert; sister, Dorothy Lafitte; brother, Doug Guillotte; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Honoring Alice as pallbearers were Jonathan Lafitte, JR Mitchell, John Mitchell, Andy Mitchell, Jace Delcambre, Josh Lafitte, Brock Lafitte, and Stephen Marcel.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mansfield, Louisiana, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rambin, Louisiana, First Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana, Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Mansfield, Louisiana, and St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or charity of your choice.
