MARYBETH MANNIES ALLEN

AUGUST 6, 1981 – AUGUST 16, 2024

Marybeth Mannies Allen, born Marybeth Mannies was arrived on August 6th, 1981 and joined her parents in heaven on August 16th, 2024. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Benny and Jena Mannies and came home to her brother Hunter Lee Mannies days later.

Marybeth, before becoming a stay at home mother was a business manager for her brother, in nightclubs, food service, and even real estate. She owned part of her legacy, Sunset Plantation, and retired to stay home and raise her two beautiful children. She was creative, and out going, and was a Zeta at Centenary College. Marybeth had a love of all things wildlife and for a while was an avid hunter that easily rivaled most men.

She’s proceeded in death by her parents Benny and Jena Mannies as well as her grand parents Charles C. Hunter and Bobbie Hunter, both politicians and pillars of the community .

She leaves behind her husband Brad and her two beautiful children Benny Cash Allen and Annebelle Presley Allen, her brother Hunter Lee Mannies and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews Pastor and family friend Dean Register officiated the service and country music artist Sarah Hobbs will be providing the music along with her life long friend, Justin.

Pall bearers, were Bookie (Joel Granger ll) Justin Mahaffy Kenny Britt Luke Allen Steven (Sims ) Brown Sheriff Jayson Richardson Cooper Register Flowers were designed by her close friend, The Flower Shop by Brittany. The funeral arrangements and burial were handled by close friends, Rodrigues Ross and his staff.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Christus Highland in Shreveport In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital, First Baptist Church of Mansfield, or First United Methodist Church of Mansfield.
