PAUL D. BROWN 05/31/60 – 11/18/22

A memorial service celebrating the life of Paul D. Brown will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Southside Baptist Church, located at 7329 Hwy. 509 in Mansfield. Dr. Gary Orr and David Hill will be officiating. A private burial will be held later.

Paul was born May 31, 19160 in Newport, Rhode Island to Jack and Joyce Brown. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 18,2022, after a brief battle with cancer. Paul retired from the U. S. Navy after 22 and one-half years of service.

Paul was preceded in death by his Mother, Joyce Brown; Grandparents Carlton and Eva Brown and Arthur and Ozzie McDaniel.

Left to cherish his memory is his partner Margaret Young; father, Jack Brown; brother Steve Brown and his wife Brenda; sister Pam Scales and husband Allen; son Jason (Brown) Skovira; nephews Robert Brown and Jacob Scales; nieces Katelyn Wheeler and Danielle Walsh; great-niece Makenna Scales and great nephews Colton and Wyatt Wheeler.

Paul loved cheering on his LSU Tigers. He loved gardening, growing bananas, lemons and most recently pineapples. Paul was a very good cook and loved to bake.

Rest High, Paul. You will be deeply missed.
