JACOB TRAVIS GAMBLE

5/14/97 – 9/10/21

Jacob Travis Gamble was a deeply loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, grandson, nephew and cousin and friend. He was born to Joseph Mark Gamble and Kimborlie Ann Gamble, née Patten, in Webster, TX on May 14th, 1997. He passed away on September 10th, 2021 at the young age of 24. That day the world lost an incredible man with so much love and promise far too soon.

Jacob was an amazing, gifted, loving, funny, respectful, giving, loyal, strong, selfless family member and friend to everyone he ever met. He had a love for his family and friends that had no bounds. He wore his heart on his sleeve and at around 6’5”, his heart was nearly as big as he was. He was a lot like his mother in that he had a smile and laughter that could cheer up anyone on their worst days and light up a room. He loved helping everyone while never asking anything in return because he only wanted to see people happy. He loved all types of music and would play the piano and sing at the oddest times of day, but it was beautiful, he was beautiful. He had a passion for working on cars in his spare time even if they weren’t broken. He also loved to grill and relax with the family while always wanting to learn more about cooking. In life, his deepest loves were his family members. He loved playing with and reading books to his oldest niece and always wanted to spend as much time with his family as possible. A cowboy at heart, he’s probably asking all the angels in heaven to dance with him while offering his hand like the true gentleman he was. Knowing that he is reunited with his mother, whom he missed and love so much, may it bring some comfort and peace to all of us loss who are going to miss him dearly. May the Lord shine his light on him in heaven as Jacob did for us here on earth.

Jacob is preceded in death by his mother, Kimborlie.

He is survived by his father Joseph Mark Gamble, sister Dannielle (Burgos) and her husband Mario along with their children (Savannah and Kimberlie), brother Michael Gamble and his wife Che, grandmother Barbara Patten and countless other Gamble and Patten relatives who loved and appreciated him so dearly for the amazing young man he was.
