DPSO Dy. Tony Turner Competes DARE Program with Awards

Sheriff Jayson Richardson would like to congratulate Deputy Antoinette (Tony) Turner, an SRO at Mansfield Elementary, for her recent completion of the Louisiana D.A.R.E. program! This was the 46th class hosted by the Louisiana D.A.R.E. Officers Association, which was held in Alexandria. It is a 2-week training, and this year saw 30 graduates split up into 5 teams. Aside from graduating this course to become another certified D.A.R.E. instructor in DeSoto Parish, Dy. Turner also won the Most Outstanding Team Leader award for the orange team, and won an award for the Most Spirited! We just wonder how many people down south she called “Hunnie Bunny” in the process? If you are familiar with Dy. Turner, you know her demeanor well. She is one of the most dedicated and sweetest SRO’s we have in our Parish. It is no surprise at all that she would take home many awards. Join us in congratulating Dy. Tony Turner on a job well done!
