Donald Ray Hubbard, 82 of Mansfield, LA, entered this life on May 2, 1941, to Jesse Leon Hubbard and Nina Florene Horton Hubbard. He departed this life for his Heavenly home surrounded by family on January 13, 2024. At the age of 20 years old, he met the love of his life, Betty Joyce Ford, a year later they married and began a great journey. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, tending to his flowers, playing dominoes, and witnessing to others. He spent many hours on the road driving for the Chevrolet company. His greatest joy was living for God and having his family near. He affected many lives through his strong faith and love for God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Leon and Nina Florene Hubbard; his brothers, Forest Leon Hubbard, William Richard Hubbard, Marvin Ronald Hubbard; and his sisters, Betty Darnell and Joyce Ann Hubbard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 61 years, Betty Joyce Hubbard; his sons, Steve Hubbard and wife Vicki, Tim Hubbard and wife Debbie; daughter, Pam Simmons and husband Gordon; sister, Geraldine Wooddell; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends. He will be missed by all.

Serving as pallbearers were Steve Hubbard, Tim Hubbard, Cody Hubbard, Anthony Hubbard, Tyler Hubbard, Matthew Callens, Julian Jimenez, and Reese Laurence. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Sloan, Tommy Mason, W.C. Ramey, and Tommy Morris.

Visitation was held Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA located at 943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052.

His home going service began at 11:00 am at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. His final resting place will be at the Noble Cemetery located at 1615 LA-1218, Noble, LA 71462. Officiating the chapel service was Rev. Gordon Simmons, Rev. Damon Magee; and officiating at the graveside was Rev. Micheal Davis.
